Florida is known for beautiful wildlife and ranches NOT just beaches!!! This week horsemen from all over Florida are riding their horses 120 miles in 7 days from Manatee County to Ft. Pierce where they ride into the ocean!!! My daughter Merrily(my broker assistant) and her husband David and my grandchildren Harrison,Waide, and Merrill are riding as a family. Every night they stop at a ranch owned by a Florida Cracker old time family and camp. There are probably 200 riders who sit around the campfires at night. They have food catered by local restaurants brought to the camp. Good food and lots of it! Barbque style.

The media in Florida carries the news from the Cracker Trail and of course it is quite the place for politicians to make appearances!!!
